Our Summer

In 2023, Adobe launched the “Everyone can Photoshop” campaign, aiming to inspire users to delve into the software's myriad tools and features. Later, the “Ozes Photoshop” (Dare to Photoshop) project was conceived, inviting both new and seasoned users to explore new routes in their imagination through the inspiring work of two of Adobe invited artists: Aishy and Flashiflash.

The challenge of capturing the true essence of creativity in two short documentaries that would be filmed in the streets of Paris and Lille, was our very own “Ozes” moment. We have vast experience conceptualizing, scripting, and creating videos. But the short-film making experience was a whole new type of adventure.

Nevertheless, we gladly took on the challenge. Which was made easier by joining hands with the talented Mattieu ( Aishy) and Adéle (Fashiflash), the fantastic Mandiri production crew: Arthur Thelu, Alexandre Bloch, Mathilde Laboureau, Shanna Blaise and our wonderful concept team: Brenda, Paul, Mahonia, Mariela, Beatriz and Mirian. With Beatriz and Mirian also forming part of the crew in France, making sure the filming went smoothly.

With both artists, we went on an urban exploration and had the chance to experience first hand how their creative work is influenced by common place objects and views. To later see them work their magic by using photoshop. The combination of their talent and the unique atmosphere they surround themselves with made the filming experience both fun and enjoyable.

Colossal Results

Ozes Photoshop represented the opportunity to reflect on what creativity means to us, redefine the possibilities of imagination, and being courageous to tread on new adventures. As a studio, collaborating was our favorite part of these production days. Undoubtedly, those 48 hours were intense, but also full of learning and inspiration.
